The Magnify window
This window shows a magnification of a 2D image, or 3 orthogonal slices through a 3D map, centered on the current mouse location. It also features animation controls to pan through slices at a desired rate.
Information and control:
- x and y mouse position, optionally showing the middle crosses
- Size and magnification
- Animation range (±slices), speed, a toggle button and a direction
- Current slice indicator
Key mapping:
- l - toggles the lock on the xy position used for magnification
- m - decreases the magnification
