    python3.13 -m venv .venv
    source .venv/bin/activate

Using uv

uv is a fast Python package and project manager that can create virtual environments and install dependencies.

  1. Install uv (if not already installed):
    curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

  2. Create a virtual environment with Python 3.13:
    uv venv --python 3.13
    source .venv/bin/activate

  3. Install MEVAL (and its dependencies) into the environment:
    uv pip install ctos-meval

Install from PyPI

  1. Create and activate a virtual environment with Python 3.13+ (see above).
  2. Install ctos-meval
    pip install ctos-meval

Install from Repo Download

  1. Clone the MEVAL repository (including submodules):
    git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/CBIIT/MEVAL.git
    cd MEVAL

  2. Create and activate a virtual environment with Python 3.13+ (see above).
